The minutes are slowly passing by
and I am still sitting awake with my thoughts.
They regale me with the moments that have gone unnoticed during the day
and remind me of all the missing pieces I have taken for granted.
To be built up and put together is a rarity for me.
I can fake it with the best of them, make it seem like I've got it all figured out.
But the truth is, I'll always be an unfinished puzzle,
Because God's still working on me.
The last few days have opened my mind up to a number of things.
What I want, what I need, what I need to want...
And through it all I have realized just how good God really is.
